The watch detects a fall
Sensors in the watch pick up the movement pattern of a fall and start to respond straight away.
A countdown they can cancel
A gentle countdown gives your loved one a moment to tap “I'm OK”. If it was nothing, nothing happens, and the family is not alarmed.
Loud SOS, family alerted
If it is a real fall, a loud SOS sounds, the watch calls the family contacts in turn, and an alert with the location lands on their phone.
We are honest about this: fall detection depends on the device and on mobile signal, and no watch is perfect. Our job is to make the alert as trustworthy as possible by the time it reaches you. We will never quote a “how accurate” number we cannot stand over.

Is it a medical device?+
No. Norse Watches is a safety and reassurance tool. Wellness readings are shown for information only and are never a diagnosis.

Yes. We are launching in both, and the watch is built to roam across networks in both markets, switching to the strongest signal available.
How is this different from the free Seniors Alert Scheme pendant?+
The Seniors Alert Scheme is a great first step, and it works by pressing a button at home. Norse Watches adds the things families keep asking us for. Our AI can raise the alarm even when your loved one cannot press a button, GPS means it works when they are out and about and not only inside the house, and the family app alerts you directly. There is no waiting list to register your interest with us.
